Pickup Truck Racing Management

The event management team for the ever successful Pickup Truck Racing Championship are all organised from the offices at SHP Motorsport. Full grids racing at oval and road circuits, over twenty associate companies supporting the formula and the first two rounds being televised early next month all bear testament to the success of the team, strategically put together by SHP.

Our knowledge of many different aspects of motorsport allows us the skill to put together race formats, different styles of racing and to create Technical and Sporting Regulations sanctioned by the MSA to suit any type of racing.

Pickup Truck Racing is the creative vision of founder and Race Director Sonny Howard and utilises the services of a dedicated team made of of Barbara Howard and Sarah Carnell who make up the race administration team on race days, Chris Baker, the Eligibility Scrutineer with his assistant Sarah Bradburn,  Nigel Barter, Clerk of the Course, John Kennedy, Chief Spotter and not forgetting our long serving Pace Truck driver Stuart Bradburn.

SHP is privileged to maintain its loyal team but also has the facility if required to assist other race series to put together similar operations.

With a vast motorsport knowledge, both practical and technical we are also able to assist with Sporting and Technical Regulations, servicing and assisting any one who wishes to benefit from our extensive motorsport portfolio.
