SHP Axles

Consignment of axles already despatched to Ludlow Motorsport.

With good original core axles now becoming classic components and a clientele of customers who are trying to put in excess of 220 BHP through a rusty carcass of a stock axle it made sense to engineer a solution.

This project has been achieved by many companies in the past as a bespoke item but where SHP is different is in our approach. We have fully jigged the build using laser cut CNC components.  Add to this quality known materials and the equipment to carry out realignment on completion of the production build.

In addition to the modern styling of a stealth type of axle design, SHP Engineering also produces a Retro axle which emulates Ford’s original design which is the strongest English axle on the market. With additional internal fixings for tube support, using quality tube and CNC machined bearing housings this is a must for the serious competitors using a Ford English axle.

SHP Engineering have a two piece halfshaft to suit both configurations of the axle being used in vehicles using 265 BHP on slick tyres.  Calipers, rotors, rotor bells, mounting brackets are all part of the package SHP Engineering are able to offer to suit this axle configuration.
