SHP offers the facility for straightening and repairs saving the expense of a complete replacement chassis. Various flat plate jigs and hydraulic straightening equipment allows SHP to offer servicing for alignment and repairs.

The chassis shop deals with all aspects of chassis work, tube cutting and bending in house.

Where previously the skill to make a cost effective tubular chassis could only be found in America within the oval fraternity this is no longer the case as the volume of work that passes through SHP Engineering chassis shop allows us to offer value for money whilst maintaining exceptionally high standards.

SHP Engineering holds contracts for a number of companies who rely on us to produce their chassis and this portfolio is constantly growing. We also produce bespoke chassis and modifications to existing chassis for individual customers.

SHP holds a large stock level of various sizes and specifications of steel tube and sheet to meet customer requirements.

Each new chassis is issued with a number and a certification of conformity. When a repair is required the vehicle chassis is photographed prior to work being started and again on completion where certification is issued to the respective customer.
