Our client asked for 2 off Porsches to be built within which SFX systems could be fitted and the cars needed to handle well to undertake show driving routines at a relatively low speed.

To ensure maximum front end grip at low speed the engine was located in the front and to accommodate this a space frame structure was built within the shells.

The fire system utilised propane from onboard bottles so driver and crew members safety was paramount throughout.

One of the unique concerns with this project was the need to protect the windscreen from the heat. This was resolved by designing an air blanket system which kept the windscreen cool, even during intense use of the “car on fire” SFX system.
